How long does it take to rebuild a normal driving record after SAP?

I completed SAP 8 months ago and I'm at a second-chance carrier. My goal is to eventually work somewhere better. What's the realistic timeline to rebuild enough clean driving record that top-tier carriers will consider me? 1 year? 2 years? Does the violation ever become irrelevant?

I've been driving for 2 years post-SAP now. At the 1-year mark I started getting responses from mid-tier carriers. At 2 years I got my first call from a top-30 company. It does get better but you have to be patient and keep building clean miles. Every month of clean driving is an asset.
